We are excited to share an incredible opportunity that continues to make a meaningful impact in our community. For its third year, the Washington County Food Access Improvement Fund, a collaborative initiative led by Mars Food & Nutrition North America, Delta Group, and the Community Foundation of Washington County, is now accepting applications for its third round of grants.

With an initial three-year commitment, the Fund aims to enhance access to nutritious food for residents in Washington County. From March 27 to May 2, 2025, we invite food pantries, faith-based institutions, and 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations to apply for funding to develop sustainable solutions to combat food insecurity. This year, we will award $50,000, and grant awards can range from $5,000 to $10,000 per organization, empowering local organizations to implement sustainable programs that ensure everyone in our community can access fresh and healthy food.

Darla Herrin, Community Foundation Executive Director; Terri Lane, Delta Group, Director of Human Resources and Marketing; & Rickey Adger, Mars Food & Nutrition Site Director, are available for interview to discuss how the fund will help pantries and non-profit organizations operate efficiently and serve the community more effectively.

If you know organizations that would benefit from this opportunity, please click button down below and for application details or questions reach out to the Community Foundation of Washington County at (662) 580-4500.
