The Community Foundation of Washington County has established the COVID – 19 Community Relief Fund under the umbrella at the Community Foundation.
Through this fund, we will be working in collaboration with our network of local and regional nonprofit organizations and faith-based institutions to deliver services and meet the immediate and long-term needs of residents of Washington County caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
To launch this fund, the Community Foundation of Washington County has pledged to match every donation, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000. We strongly believe in taking a leadership role in this effort and hope to encourage others to join us in the creation of a safe, accountable and transparent place for donors to invest their gifts with the knowledge that these gifts will be used to serve the greatest good and most urgent needs in our home community.
We urge you to join in our upcoming work today by making an online donation at the Foundation’s secure website, www.cfwashco.org, designating your donation to the COVID – 19 Community Relief Fund. Or simply mail your contribution to the Community Foundation of Washington County, P.O. Box 5910, Greenville, MS 38704. Please make all donations to the Community Foundation of Washington County with COVID – 19 Community Relief Fund in the memo line.
