IT’S GIVING TREE TIME!
The Community Volunteer Collaborative is now accepting applications from Washington County residents who have children under 18 and are in need of holiday assistance through the Giving Tree program. Last year over 275 Christmas wish lists were filled and 300 holiday food boxes filled with a turkey and non-perishable food items were distributed to families throughout the Washington County community.
Due to COVID-19 safety guidelines, the Giving Tree Program registration will be via text message again this year. Only parents and/or legal guardians may register for their child or children and must be prepared to share via text message original birth certificates for each child to be registered plus proof of income for the household for qualification purposes. Participants will be selected based upon the qualification criteria on a first-come, first-served basis. The Giving Tree registration will end on Friday, December 3, 2021.
