The Community Foundation of Washington County is thrilled to partner with the Greater Greenville Development Foundation, the City of Greenville and other individual supporters in this fantastic project for our downtown and for all of Washington County.

This new $200,000 multi-purpose pavilion, previously set to be located in Stein Mart Square, was slated be the first project as one of the foundation’s strategic initiatives is Downtown Revitalization. In 2016, the Community Foundation of Washington County committed $25,000 towards the development and implementation of this incredible facility to serve as a focal point in our downtown, as this newly constructed pavilion will serve as a centrally located community-gathering space to bring all of our community residents together in Downtown Greenville.  As the site for the new Federal Building has now been selected as Stein Mart Square, this commitment still stands as plans for the pavilion are still alive based upon the selection and progress toward the creation of a new green space for Downtown Greenville.
